Dr. Myra earned her doctorate of chiropractic from Palmer West Chiropractic College where she graduated Cum Laude and was nominated as a candidate for Clinical Excellence. She discovered the benefits of chiropractic after a collegiate soccer injury and was amazed at the numerous conditions chiropractic can treat aside from the well-known low back and neck pain. Her experiences with chiropractic care has driven her to share her knowledge and help others get back and continue to do the activities they love on and off the field.
Prior to obtaining her doctorate, she received her bachelor in kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy from California State University East Bay. She uses her background in fitness and rehab, in conjunction with spinal adustments, to give her patients the best individualize care. Her goal is to help them achieve vitality and wellness through hands-on therapy and give them the knowledge about lifestyle modification to help them thrive.
On her free time, Dr. Myra loves coaching soccer, attending comic conventions, and is an avid cat lover.
Dr. Myra was a member of the team doctors for the South bay Patriots, a semi-pro football team in the Bay Area. She is also certified in soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotaping, and is currently pursing to become a certified chiropractic sport physician.
