    My Story

For the past 15 years I have devoted myself to being my patients “Go-To” doctor in their times of need.  Whether they are seeking Chiropractic specifically or are just trying something new, every patient who walks through my door quickly realizes they will get the answers they’ve been looking for and and the care they need.

In recent years I have turned my focus towards Chronic Pain & Neuropathy patients, realizing the desperate needs so many people have in today’s 24-7 work environment. Being in Silicon Valley, I treat so many professionals in the Tech and Corporate world who are feeling the effects of endless hours in front of their computer. Humans weren’t designed to be spending 40-60 hours a week “plugged in”, and the effects of our new lifestyle is playing out in each of our lives.

Please consider joining me at my office, Healthworks Chiropractic, for a no-nonsense, comprehensive solution to managing the chronic aches and pains, numbness and tingling, and endless stress in our lives. Winning this battle requires a persistent and practical management plan  and I will be there to teach and mentor you each step along the way.

    My Story

My years of soccer came with a price.  During my playing days I’d suffered three separate concussions throughout my career and twice tore my ACL in my right knee in the same year. I was certain my playing days were over.  Luckily a friend recommended I see a Chiropractor.

I remember how skeptical I was.  I’d been through numerous Medical doctors and surgeons as well as extensive therapy and hadn’t gotten better.  Why would Chiropractic do any better? Besides, don’t they just treat neck and back problems?

My first appointment with a Sports Chiropractor changed that opinion forever.    I was impressed with a whole-body approach that examined my biomechanics and muscular imbalance. Furthermore, the doctor even initiated a concussion rehabilitation program for me.

Within a few visits, I started to question why I have never realized the benefit or even the existence of a sports chiropractor. After several months of treatment, I was back to playing soccer competitively and more importantly had the confidence in my knee to sustain the activity. Fast forward to present day, my knee continues to feel stable, I am still active not only in competitive soccer, but also yoga and powerlifting.

My experience has inspired me to disable the stereotypes of chiropractic care and help anyone who has a passion for an active lifestyle, whether that be in competitive sports, doing the activities you love, and/or having fun with your kids.

  • "Best chiropractor I have seen so far. Dr. Lyons is very knowledgeable and explains why he is doing what he is doing. Best part is his treatment is very effective.
From regular adjustments to helping one with severe accidents, he is the best. He fixed up my wife's knee, which she injured when falling from a staircase yeas ago. We went to various sports and ortho docs who could not help. Dr. Lyons treated her and fully fixed it. Highly recommend him."
